About Event

Inauguration of Bureau of Indian Standards Club (SC – 5222) was conducted at 10:30 am to 11:00 am, on 15th September 2023, the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony Principal and Director Dr. J. Shivakumar, highlighted importance using quality products in day today life, further motivated the students take part actively in the events to be organized by the club.
Mechanical Engineering department H.O.D. Dr. B. V. Hubballi welcomed the gathering. Professor Rajshekhar V. Unni shared the information of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) government body, their air and objectives also mentioned how BIS is creating awareness by forming standards club at school, college levels, also updated about the events planned for the academic year 2023-24 for the club members of BIS.
